- Agility 1 – Beginning<\/strong> \u2013 This class will cover the mechanics of front, back, and rear crosses, basic handling skills, and obstacle fundamentals.\u00a0 We will be using contact mats, perch boxes, cones, weave poles, tunnels, contacts, and jumps.\u00a0 This class focuses on fundamentals that increase success in future classes and competition. Conditioning is a pre-requisite for this class.\u00a0 I<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

- April 15, 2026 – Conditioning<\/strong><\/span> – This class will run for 8 weeks.\u00a0 Seven weeks of instruction and the 8th week will be for evaluation.\u00a0 This class is a prerequisite for Agility 1. These classes will be held at Tautphaus Park.<\/li>\n
- June 17, 2026 – Agility 1 – Beginning Agility<\/span><\/strong> – June 17, 2026 – This class will run for 8 weeks.\u00a0 This class will be held in Tautphaus Park in the Lilac Circle area.\u00a0 This is a beginning class and participants should expect to do foundation work before progressing to agility equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Class size is limited so please register early.<\/p>\n
Registration<\/h3>\r\n

- PRE-REGISTRATION is required.<\/li>\r\n \t
- Classes are limited to space available.\u00a0 Register early to secure your spot.<\/li>\r\n \t
- Registration is accepted on a first come, first served basis.<\/li>\r\n \t
- Registration should be completed online using the online store.\u00a0 Your slot is reserved when you have finished checking out.\u00a0 You will receive a confirmation email when your order is complete.<\/li>\r\n \t
- If the class shows as “Out of Stock”, the class is full<\/li>\r\n \t
- If the class is full you may add your name to a waiting list<\/a> in the case that a slot opens up.<\/li>\r\n \t
- Online payment options for PayPal are available.\u00a0 If you plan to use a credit card, select the PayPal option.<\/li>\r\n \t
- Once the online registration is complete, you should receive a confirmation email, including your order number. Save this confirmation for future reference. Should you not receive this confirmation email, please contact the training director listed below.<\/li>\r\n \t
- Class registration will be closed no later than one week prior to the class start date.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

Cancellation Fees<\/h3>\n
Attention: If you cancel your registration, there will be a cancellation\/processing fee which will be deducted from the refund. Cancellation fees are as follows:<\/div>\n- \n
- $20.00 if cancelled at any time.<\/li>\n
- $25.00 if cancelled 14 days or less before start of class.<\/li>\n
- NO refunds if cancelled 10 days or less before start of class.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/p>\n\n
Requirements and\u00a0Prerequisites<\/h3>\n
Before signing up, make sure that you meet the pre-requisites for each class.<\/p>\n

- Minimum Age for Dogs is 1 year of age<\/li>\n
- Your dog should know some simple commands such as Sit,\u00a0Down, Stay or Wait.<\/li>\n
- Due to the nature of the class dogs that are dog or people aggressive are not suitable for any of these classes<\/li>\n
- Pre-requisite for all class is successful completion of basic obedience or a CGC. In special circumstances previous class requirement may be waived if handler\/dog demonstrate they have needed skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Bring With You<\/h3>\n
You will need to bring the following with you to each class:<\/p>\n

- buckle collar<\/li>\n
- leash<\/li>\n
- tug-type toy<\/li>\n
- small moist treats for every class (lots and lots)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
