Achievement of Excellence Award\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n
“In honor of Barbara Friedrich”<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n
\n

Barbara Friedrich (1939-2016) was an advocate for dogs and handlers. An active member of the Upper Snake River Valley Dog Training Club (USRVDTC) for many years, she successfully competed with multiple dogs in Obedience, Rally, Tracking and helped many other dog\/handler teams reach their goals. Barbara gave freely of her time and talents to further the objectives of the club and its members. The Achievement of Excellence Award has been established in Barb\u2019s honor to recognize dog\/handler teams for their success and in memory of Barbara\u2019s many accomplishments and friendship to all.<\/p>\n

This award is for members of the Upper Snake River Valley Dog Training Club.\u00a0 There is a link below for the guidelines, application, points worksheet, and points schedule for the award.\u00a0 The time period for accumulating points will run from November 1 of each year through October 31 of the following year.<\/p>\n

The Award recognizes the collaboration of dog and handler and the bond that forms as they work together in various sports. It will be presented annually to the high scoring team during the Club\u2019s Christmas party. The team will receive a plaque and their names will be added to the memorial poster which will be housed at the Snake River Animal Shelter in Idaho Falls.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
